This past January, PittMoss was honored to receive the Tibbets Award, which recognizes companies in the SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) Program that have made great technological impacts. You can read more about the award here.
Fast forward to late July and we are on the road again attending the Vilanova Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship Institute’s free workshop to help promote the SBIR program. The SBIR program is partnering with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the Pennsylvania Small Business Development Center and Innovation Partnership to host the workshop to promote and share information on the SBIR Program.
The workshop is taking place July 27th with Brian Scott, CEO of PittMoss, in attendance and contributing to a panel discussion with other SBIR recipients including Environmental Fuels Research and Green Heron Tools.
You can learn more about the SBIR program through their website.
